Corporal. Yannick Scherrer funeral who died March 27 in Afghanistan, will be held on April 8 in Valcartier.
Corporal Yannick Scherrer was a native of Montreal and joined the Canadian Forces July 5, 2007.
He Served with 1 Batillion, Royal 22e Regiment, Battle Group in Afghanistan and was a member of 1 Battalion, Royal 22e Regiment. He was 24 years old and was on his first mission.
