Cpl. Glen Arnold Ave.

Canadian Heroes recently had the privilege of visiting the street named in respect for his sacrifice of Cpl. Glen Arnold.
Cpl. Arnold was born in Sudbury and was raised in McKerrow, On. Near Arnold’s family home down Levert Road in McKerrow, On is where you will find the sign in his honour.
He bravely served his country for 14 years, enlisting as a reservist in the 2nd Battalion of the Irish Regiment of Canada in 1992 at just 18 years old. In 1997 he trained as a medical technician at CFB Borden. That career took him overseas many times including tours in Bosnia.
Cpl. Glen Arnold, then a member of 2 Field Ambulance, was killed September, 18 2006 by a suicide bomber during a routine foot patrol in Afghanistan. It was a great privilege for Canadian Heroes to visit this remembrance in his name. If your ever out in the area of McKerrow, On take the time to visit Cpl. Glen Arnold Ave.
